This is the quintessential Bedford home, an original Connecticut Valley Colonial built in 1790 on a slight bluff overlooking the Broad Brook. In 1995 this property underwent a total historic restoration. The main house was disassembled and reconstructed with a full steel frame. This museum quality restoration took almost 3 years and included authentic hand made hardware throughout, replacement of all flooring with wide board chestnut, oak and heart pine. The moldings’ and trim are faithful to the original home.
